The Full diagnostic

The fuller look, once the scan has shown what to talk about. Every member answers 72 statements, one per screen and in mixed order, across 21 scales and 3 outcomes. Answers carry a random ID, never a name. When the round closes, everyone sees the same results, scale by scale.

What it brings

  • For you

    Say what you see, safely

    • Each statement is about the team, never about a colleague.
    • Stored with a random ID, never with your name.
    • Progress is saved on your device until you submit.
  • For the leadership group

The whole picture, scale by scale

    • Conditions, processes and states, and the outcomes they lead to.
    • Everyone is asked, and nobody is picked out.
    • A count while it runs, never a score or a name.
  • For the organisation

    A measure you can repeat

    • The same published statements in every round.
    • Built on the research on leadership teams, and labelled research-based, not yet validated.
    • No result below the anonymity threshold.

How it works

The leader opens a round

The leader opens the Full diagnostic, and every current member is asked. There is no picker for who takes part. The round stays open for 14 days.

  • One round answers at a time.
  • A group needs at least as many members as its threshold, 4 or more.

Before the first question

Each member sees what the round asks and how answers are kept: with a random ID, never with a name. Results open to everyone when the round closes.

One statement per screen

72 statements in one mixed order, never grouped by scale. A member can skip and come back, and a review lists the gaps before “Submit anonymously”.

  • Progress is kept on the device until submit.
  • The same order for every member of the round.

Results, for everyone at once

When the round is released, every member sees the same results at the same moment. The three outcomes come first, then the 21 scales by layer.

  • Each scale shows its level, an agreement label and one standing.
  • Each carries its evidence rating, from strong to not yet rated.
  • Change shows only between two rounds, and only when it is large enough to mean something.

A scale, explained

Each scale opens on a page of its own: what it means, its level, agreement and standing, its guidance and its evidence. One step further shows each question’s mean.

  • Guidance is worded as firmly as the scale’s evidence allows.
  • Never a lowest or highest score, a distribution, or one person’s answer.

A round, from open to result

  1. 1

    Answering

Every member is asked. The page shows a count, never a score.

  2. 2

    Closed

On its date, or when everyone has answered. Scores are computed once.

  3. 3

    Released

With at least 4 answers, every member sees the result at the same moment.

What it measures

  • 72 statements

One per screen, about the team as a whole.

  • 21 scales

Conditions, processes and states, each with its evidence rating.

  • 3 outcomes

Direction, alignment and commitment; viability; and member growth.

The research page lists every scale, how it is read and how strong its evidence is.

Questions and answers

Can the leader see who has answered?
No. Everyone sees the count, such as 5 of 8 answered. Each person sees only whether they have answered themselves.
What do the results show?
For each scale, its level, an agreement label and one standing, with its evidence rating. Never a lowest or highest score, a distribution or anyone’s answers.
What if someone stops halfway?
Their progress is saved on their device until they submit, for as long as the round is open.
What if fewer than four answer?
The round gets one extension of seven days. If there are still too few answers, no result is made and the answers are deleted.
How does a group get it?
The Full diagnostic is part of the Team plan. A group’s leader can start a 14-day trial in the app, with no billing details.
